SCF Interactive ChartThe SCF Interactive Chart creates time series charts representing estimates in the historic tables, and covers the period 1989 to the most recent survey year. For each variable and classification group, the charts show the percent of families in the group who have the item and the median and mean amounts of holdings for those who have the item. Users should be aware that because robust techniques were not used to calculate the mean estimates, results in some instances may be strongly affected by outliers. All dollar variables are inflation-adjusted to 2019 dollars.

Comparing the results of the 2012 and 2019 surveys shows little, if any, progress. In some areas, the situation got even worse. Importantly, the EU averages mask huge differences between countries. In some, over 70% LGBT people say society is more tolerant while in others, up to 68% say it is less.
FRA compared the results with respect to differences in selected indicators between the 2012 and 2019 surveys, where possible. FRA did this by developing comparable datasets for the 2012 and 2019 surveys. This included data only for LGBT people over 18 years old from the 2019 survey, excluding the intersex category that was not surveyed in 2012, as well as respondents in Serbia and North Macedonia, and LGBTI youth.
