cheapest place to buy a gun online

Rural King (Rkguns) used to be a decent place to buy online, but thier shipping times have stretched into two weeks or more and they have recently increased their prices. Also they like to oversell inventory and then cancel your order.

Just bought my SAR9X online at Dahlonega Armory. Best prices I found next to Shooting Surplus. Dahlonega stock status appears timely and accurate. They shipped it FedEx overnight. Extremely satisfied and highly recommend.

Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate you pointing out that Armslist has a membership fee and we will update the article to reflect that. We are humans though and sometimes we forget to add things into articles. We hope you don't hold it against us that we sometimes aren't perfect. Also, we were not paid to put anyone on this list. This is based on our experiences buying guns online. Again, thanks for the feedback.

I have had really good experience with Grabagun.com Not the cheapest, but excellent customer service and my recent purchases were shipped within days (I am sure some are drop shipped. Also they have flat rate shipping on all ammo, so you can go major bulk and only pay about $13 for the whole thing, that is of course if they have what you need, but they are pretty good with that too.

I was looking online for an AR style semiauto 12 gauge. Atlantic Firearms had a lot of selection but little in stock, I eventually found what I wanted at Grabagun, shipping was super quick.I ran into this scam website called Glockstore.org. Very similar logo to Lenny's glockstore it with the .org instead of the .com. Everything was in stock and a lot less expensive than everywhere I'd looked. The payment options were sketchy, no credit cards just PayPal and Western Union. And shipping to an FFL was optional. I imagine they are preying on new gun buyers. Stay far away!

I like that guns.com is featuring firearms from small mom-and-pop gun shops from across the country on their site! Great way to buy online and STILL support the local gun stores that deserve our business.

My FFL charges $25.00 any more is robbery. FFLs are trying to stop people from buying online because of the loss of business. I say get with the paln or shutdown. 100 $25 transfers is still $2500 and it's all profit in many states.

Like Mike said, you could always get your own FFL. Sell a couple Glocks to people you know, and it pays for itself. Also, I've found that many shops are willing to work with you on the price - the last two guns I've bought, I brought an ad from the cheapest website I could find, talked to my gun guy behind the counter, and he matched online price plus FFL fee, so I spent what I would have spent, AND got to walk out with my hardware the same day.The shop's cost is probably higher than the website's cost, so they might not be able to beat the amazing deals, but there's no need to pay sticker most of the time.

I'm new to guns and made my first online purchase(Palmetto State PSAK 47) a couple of weeks ago. Everything went smooth until I picked it up and discovered the $50.00 fee my FFL charged. Needless to say, I will be looking for a new FFL when I can't support my local gun shop.

Try buyyourgunsonline.com. Friendly service and fast delivery. Some of their prices are better than the big online gun shops. Also have instant discounts once your order is put in your cart. Well over 50,000 items to choose from. Was pleasantly suprised

FFL fees are regional and vary widely. Near me, the cheapest option is $45 with the average being $60 and the high end at $100.James mentioned a DROS also, DROS is a California only document so I assume they are in California - like I am, so his statement is likely completely correct for his region. In the Northern part of the state, it isn't uncommon to see FFLs charge $120-150 for a transfer.

I have been trying to buy a Smith & Wesson model 10 from Robertson's Trading Post but the guy I ve been dealing with online is no very courteous. What every happened to treating your customers like you appreciate their businesses?

Online scams during times of peak demand many stores that allow individuals to sell their used guns have been criticised for the scams that have taken place through them. We select guns.com because of their inspection, but if you choose to go through another site watch out for multiples of the same listing, or unreasonably good deals.

This is another online gun store that sells multiple different brands like Sig Sauer, Kimber, CMMG, Ruger, Springfield Armory, and hundreds more. Their largest selection is definitely in pistols but they also may be one of the best places to buy Automatics at times.

Gunbroker is the equivalent of an online gun show mixed with eBay. It can be a nice place to find Collectables and budget guns. Personally I would recommend a company that inspects the item first like Guns.com but not having that may save you a small percentage.

Some states like California will still collect taxes on firearms through your chosen FFL, unfortunately. Some FFLs will charge high fees because they lose money when you buy online, instead of their store, and spend time helping you transfer.

Update: Gun availability is better than it has been in years. Prices are coming down as well. These sites below are some of the best places to start looking for what you need. Thank you for using our page as your gun finder!

Guns bought online through an online gun dealer will not ship directly to you. They will generally ship to a local FFL dealer who will process the proper paperwork including forms and background checks, etc. just as if you had bought the gun locally. Online gun retailers bring convenience and lower prices to the market and this is a good thing.

Palmetto State Armory is a powerhouse in the gun world and their online gun shop and selection of firearms is a big part of the reason. Whether you need a new gun for hunting, home defense, or concealed carry, PSA has the big brands including their own exclusive offerings.

Most of us probably think of Brownells more for their gunsmithing tools than for firearms but they have a great selection of guns. Combined with their superior customer service, this is one of my favorite all-around online stores.

Sportsman's Warehouse carries over 10,000 firearms that you can shop for in-store or online and they are a must stop on your journey. They sell a lot of guns and are constantly replenishing their huge selection.

Shop Texas Gun Experience is an easy and safe way to buy a firearm online. Browse our selection of pistols, rifles, and shotguns that can be transferred to your nearest FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer or pick up your item at one of our locations by choosing in-store pick up at checkout. Once the order is placed we will let you know when it's ready to ship or pick up. Can't find what you're looking for? Give us a call at 817-285-0664 or text your question to 817-859-7139 and one of our customer service staff will help.

Massachusetts requires special licenses. The details depend on firearm type. Because of those laws and nuances, many online vendors choose not to ship to MA at all. But you can legally ship ammo to your MA home if you have the LTC (Firearms License to Carry) and buy from a vendor like Target Sports USA that will deal with the bureaucracy.

Usually, the cheapest way to buy a gun is at a pawn shop or a gun show. At these locations, you can often use haggling skills to obtain the best price possible. Big box department or sporting goods stores usually have the highest prices, while online stores offer the best convenience and sales offers.

FFL stands for Federal Firearms License, and an FFL transfer is simply the process of changing possession of a firearm from an FFL to another FFL or customer. In almost all cases, it is not legal to receive a gun at your home or transfer a gun across state lines without the involvement of a dealer. Having an FFL dealer receive your online purchase is what keeps this process secure, safe, and legal.

Primary Arms recently went head-first into the online gun marketing biz and their selection of firearms and shooting range equipment is a nice little combination of cost-effective rifles and really expensive rare tactical rifles. 041b061a72
